Community Dinner Whets Appetite for More

Attendance beat expectations for our first community dinner held at The Moderation on Thursday 13th August.
Committee member Dan Crosland organised it via the Bell Tower Whatsapp group and attracted 17 participants. The venue was chosen because of its support for Bell Tower.
During the dinner, the drinks and conversation flowed, covering subjects from how we all ended up in the area to the Reading Festival via the partial eclipse to tipping habits in various countries and classes of restaurants from burger joints to Michelin-starred restaurants.
The number of people who came shows there is an appetite for this kind of event. Once Dan has digested the success of his first Bell Tower event, he says he’ll be cooking up another idea for a community dinner. Keep an eye out for announcements.
